Co-Leader | New Mexico American Promise Association
Ishwari has been active in the 28th Amendment movement for about 2 years. Motivated by what she sees as the devastating impact of the 2010 Citizens United ruling, and the increasingly divisive and fear-based path much of our country and the world are caught up in, she participates in local, state, and national efforts to remove the undue influence of big money in politics. She is a semi-retired psychotherapist, with two grown daughters, three grandsons, and dozens of other family members throughout the US. Her political reform activism is inspired by a strong desire to help heal the dysfunction that has emerged in recent years, and to contribute to a more sustainable and just future for all. Originally from Northern California, Ishwari resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her partner Eric, one dog and one cat.
