Restorative Justice Youth Advocate | FreeHearts/Raphah Institute
Ashlee Sellars is a Restorative Justice Coordinator with Raphah Institute, in Nashville, Tennessee. She facilitates restorative conversations between Juvenile Court involved youth who have committed felonies and the people they have harmed.
One of Ashlee’s best connecting points is due to being a youth who was in-prisoned while in her formative teenage years. She vowed that she would always remember those she left behind in the over two decades she remained there, turning all of her experiences into knowledge to help create positive transformation for today’s youth and those in the community who have been harmed.
She works with The National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls, FreeHearts, EpicGirl, FICPFM, Incarcerated Children’s Advocacy Network, Unheard Voices Outreach, Lipscomb LIFE, and lends her voice to advocating for positive community transformation.
